PERSONALITIES

In the selection of resource persons by the Institute, preference is always given to qualified members of staff who are knowledgeable  in Shipping Practice and Theory.  Moreso, academic staff from cognate areas of studies are considered to teach courses within their areas of competence.  This not withstanding, selection is guided by:

  1. Expertise and specialization in shipping
  2. Work load

The institute draws most of her resources persons as experts from various fields like banking and finance, marine insurance practice and law in the academia. The following resource persons are from the University of Lagos and Nigerian Institute of Shipping recognized training centres:-
